Celebration of Life
Flowers bear witness to all of life’s milestones. From birth to death and the “dash” in between, flora mark occasions big and small. The universal truth of beauty is particularly important in times of grief and sadness.
We were asked to honor the well-lived life of a community giant. A man whose legacy continues to ripple wide in the Sri Lankan community of Los Angeles. He made the transition to a new country a little easier to call home for those who came after him by helping pave the path he himself once bushwhacked.
The family requested a colorful tribute for this Celebration of Life.
One wreath from each grandchild
Asparagus Fern and sheet Moss were the base of this airy wreath, accented by seasonal Zinnias, Yarrow, and fluffy, buttery Lisianthus
Same base with pink and orange Dahlia
Eucalyptus and Asparagus Fern serve as the basis for this muted color palette
Eucalyptus wrapped to cover the base but keep the loose effect for movement
We offer a moment of silence for all those whose death has gone unwitnessed; an unconsecrated passing into the next realm without tender care and attention. So often we forget the blessing of being part of a bigger whole!
