Clare and Josh

God Bless New Orleans, a city of resilience and redemption. The honor of doing the flowers for Clare and Josh’s wedding was not lost on me. A full circle moment, they happened to get married at the same venue my older brother did thirteen years ago! Admittedly, as a freshman in college (read: disordered drinker), I didn’t remember much of the space. It was sweet to be given the chance to redeem myself in my current state, which I consider to be a bit more blossomed. Marie and I visited St. Rose Flower Farm to pick blooms for the wedding. We spent five hours in the car laughing and crying and then laughing again. You can see the gorgeous zinnias featured in the bridal bouquet and centerpieces.

Special shout out to The Secret Spot for lending their support with the use of acryllic stands for the ceremony. It is nice to make flower friends all over the world, especially because they understand how layered the execution of a travel job is.
